Licet Ariza is doing things she never imagined she’d do.  I mean, she’s a preschool teacher now and THAT wasn’t in the plan!  But it seems she loves it so go figure!  It’s not every job that guarantees hugs and moments of joy on a daily basis.  Plus, she’s always been a wordsmith but now she’s discovering that she’s a pretty good photographer.  Who knew??  For over 20 years, in another life it seems, she was a communications professional in television and film publicity and production.  That was pretty cool. Celebrities and Hollywood things and awesome parties.  Then she moved to Miami and things changed.  Husband. Education career. Menopause!  LOL.  She has a BA in English and an MA in Film.  Born in the Dominican Republic, she has lived in the U.S. since she was two years old (NY, Boston, DC, LA, and now the land of the relentless sun, Miami).
